Quality of Welded Products of “Naftni” and “Tehnički” Services Aligned with International Standards
External recertification audits were successfully conducted at Naftagas – Naftni Servisi and Naftagas – Tehnički Servisi, confirming that welding processes comply with EN ISO 3834-2.
The audits were performed by assessors from the Welding Institute of Belgrade, thereby extending the validity of the certificates for the upcoming period.
In addition to representatives of the audited organizational units, members of the Department for Organizational Effectiveness, Standardization and Quality – Business Process Standardization Sector also participated, responsible for planning and executing the external audits.
During the recertification process, the scope of certification was expanded in both subsidiaries.
At Naftagas – Naftni Servisi, in addition to the Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Unit and the Construction, Site Preparation and Relocation Unit, the certification scope was extended to include the Mining Operations Unit.
At Naftagas – Tehnički Servisi, the scope of certification was expanded beyond the Process Systems Maintenance and Handling Unit in Pančevo to include the Process Systems Maintenance and Handling Unit in Novi Sad.
Implementation of EN ISO 3834-2 enables the identification of all factors that may affect welding quality and require monitoring and control at every stage of the process.
Compliance with the requirements of this international standard has been confirmed by the issuance of certificates by the Welding Institute.
EN ISO 3834 (ISO 3834) is a globally recognized standard developed by welding experts and it:
- covers management of welding-based production processes,
- defines requirements exclusively related to the quality of welded joints,
- promotes a proactive approach to welding quality management and control, both in workshops and on-site, focused on product and process,
- functions as a factory production control system during product manufacturing.
